Stayed at Coral Beach Hotel, Dar es Salaam during November and December 2007 whilst traveling Tanzania and South Africa. The hotel is set amongst very well maintained gardens with beautiful Palm Trees and great view of the India Ocean, The Hotel has a very nice clean pool area and 2 restaurants including a sea view bar. Breakfast is varied and plentiful. Guests can also make use of the gym which is small but adequate and well maintained. Rooms at the hotel were well serviced, secure and comfortable.
Staffs were helpful. Business centre and internet was very good the hotel offers free wifi which is a plus for a business traveler. We really enjoyed our stay at Coral Beach Hotel Dar Es Salaam and would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed at Coral Beach Hotel 02nd – 7th October. The booking was done via late rooms, my husband was on business and myself and kids were accompanying him. We had requested for a sea view family room (four of us were in a room) 302 was allocated I believe, just on the reception level. The hotel is located near the bay/sea. The staffs were very helpful and accommodated all our request. Our room had 2 King size bed in our room – which were true King beds, not two twins pushed together. The bathroom was not huge, but bigger than most in Europe. The hotels offers free internet and has 24hrs business centre. The sundowners at the hotel were amazingly beautiful. We enjoyed having dinner at the hotel’s seafront restaurant, the food and service was great. The staff overall could not have been more accommodating. The girl on Front Desk (Juliet) I believe arranged our 1 night trip to Zanzibar and helped us reserving a room.

We stayed at Coral Beach at the end of August, with two young children, at the end of a 5-week trip in Kenya and Tanzania. Our room was quite large and well equipped, including two kingsize beds. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, the garden and pool were great, especially for the kids, and the setting couldn't be better. Food also of good quality. The hotel is a bit further away from the city center (as are many of the good hotels), but the hotel has its own taxi service (15 minutes, 7 US$). I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed for 4 nights at Coral Beach Hotel having secured a good rate on the hotel website. We needed information on Airport Transfers which I requested via the website with in a few hours I received a call from the hotel representative based in UK.
When we arrived the transfers was booked. On arrival check in was easy and efficient. We had requested a quiet non-smoking room and were not disappointed. Our room was on the 4th floor and overlooked the pool and beautiful sea-views. The room was huge comparing to other hotels, spotlessly clean and very, very comfortable - the bed was to die for! There was also a huge bathroom and a shower over the bath. Toiletries were plentiful. In the room was a complimentary hospitality tray, bottle of wine and a fruit platter. Complimentary wirelesses internet connection facility was also available which made communication easy back home.
We had a drink in the bar and dinner in the water front which was great. The service during dinner was fantastic
We will definitely stay at Coral Beach Hotel again |
